The Living Matrix Comes Sooner To Holistic Healing Groups’ Hosted Screenings

Filmmakers Offer Program for Holistic Health and Spiritual Groups To Host Screenings of the New Documentary That Validates Role of Bioenergetics in Controlling Health

San Rafael, Calif., July 1, 2009 –Due to unexpected demand to bring The Living Matrix to more communities, the filmmakers launched ahead of schedule a hosted screening program that will support alternative healing practitioners as well as community groups who want to show the film at private and public gatherings.
The Living Matrix Host-a-Screening program includes agreement packages for groups of fewer than 50, fewer than 100, and more than 100. Agreement packages require registration on the site and discounted quantity purchase of DVDs, sales of which can oftentimes benefit fundraising efforts. To support alternative healing group screenings, The Living Matrix provides promotional materials and resources to encourage group discussion. (Private groups of fewer than 15 are asked to register on the site but are not required to participate in an agreement; all public screenings are required to participate.) Details of The Living Matrix “Host-a-Screening” program are available on the film’s website or by calling 415-454-9134, ext. 202.

The Living Matrix is the first film to bring together scientists, researchers, and academics from around the world to explore the role of quantum-science – such as energy and information fields – in health and healing and to question the exclusive role of genetics in human biology.
To encourage discussion, inspiration, and activism to bring bioenergetic medicine into the mainstream conversation about health care, the filmmakers announced last month programs and resources to engage the power of community forums to achieve their goal. The hosted screening program was scheduled for launch later this summer, but alternative healing communities from Westport, Massachusetts, to Dublin, Ireland, jumped the gun.
“People have been asking us to bring the film to their communities since our London premiere in March this year,” said Harry Massey, Executive Producer. “The more we’ve shown the film at alternative healing conferences, the more our Facebook fan page is peppered with requests from all over the world; the Twitter appeals are coming almost daily now. We just couldn’t ask them to wait any longer.”
The London premiere of The Living Matrix in March sold out to a 430-seat theater in March. The U.S. premiere in May at a 250-seat theater in Marin County, California, sold all tickets for its two-night screening. At both screenings, along with a 550-seat venue in Santa Cruz, Calif., people had to be turned away at the door, which sparked the filmmakers’ decision to release the hosted screening program early.
Directed by San Francisco-based filmmaker Greg Becker, and produced by Harry Massey, an entrepreneur in bioenergetics and informational healthcare in Poole, England, The Living Matrix mixes new science, recovery stories, and 3D motion graphics to take the provocative discussion of quantum physics, energy fields, and consciousness and apply it to health and healing. It is the first documentary film to bring together academic and independent researchers, practitioners, and science journalists – such as internationally known healer, Dr. Eric Pearl; cellular biologist and former Stanford University professor, Dr. Bruce Lipton; author, Lynne McTaggart, and former US astronaut, Dr. Edgar Mitchell –whose work reveals scientific evidence that energy and information fields, not genetics, control health and wellbeing.
Through in-person interviews and dramatized video vignettes that document the stories of people who recovered from chronic illness – including a five-year-old boy born with cerebral palsy, an osteopathic doctor with a brain tumor, and a housewife bedridden with chronic fatigue syndrome – the film demonstrates the effectiveness of bioenergetic medicine where traditional medicine has not restored health.
“This is a time of great activism and a time when people are demanding safer, more effective and affordable health care choices in line with their personal beliefs,” said Greg Becker, director. “Through our film and screenings community forums, we want to spread the word that many alternative healing options are backed by reliable scientific research and have real potential to improve lives where conventional medicine might not.”
Greg Becker is President of Emaginate, an award winning San Francisco-area film, video and digital media production company. Harry Massey is founder and CEO of Nutri-Energetics Systems (NES) in Poole, England.
