Professor, biologist and author Rupert Sheldrake has a string degrees and fellowships from prestigious universities in England and the US, but is perhaps best known for his research on morphogenetic fields.

Rupert Sheldrake presents the mind-body theory that the processes of life and evolution are directed by underlying fields of energy and information. These energetic components are embedded in all organically formed structures, including humans.

Exploring areas that other academic scientists have shunned, Rupert Sheldrake has done extensive study on paranormal and psychic phenomena.

Rupert Sheldrake has written more than 75 scientific papers and 10 books, which include “Presence of the Past: Morphic Resonance and the Habits of Nature,” “Dogs That Know When Their Owners Are Coming Home: And Other Unexplained Powers of Animals” and “The Sense of Being Stared at: And Other Aspects of the Extended Mind.”

Among frequent appearances on British and overseas television, Rupert Sheldrake participated (along with Stephen Jay Gould, Daniel Dennett, Oliver Sacks, Freeman Dyson and Stephen Toulmin) in a PBS-aired series called “A Glorious Accident.” The program culminated in a round table discussion about the brain, evolution and unexplained phenomena in human consciousness.
